James is a student in the doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Iowa. He received his Bachelor of Science at the College of Charleston in 2019. Before graduate school, James worked at the Medical University of South Carolina as a program coordinator primarily using non-invasive brain stimulation techniques across various patient populations. James’ research interests include using electrophysiology techniques such as EEG to better understand perceptual and cognitive predictors and functional outcomes in people with severe mental illness. James enjoys biking, listening to music, and finding new restaurants.
